DJ JPS was born into a family of musicians from South Florida. JPS was raised in a single parent home by his mother. In hopes for a better opportunity, she relocated the family to Fort Lauderdale; where JPS would discover his passion. JPS has been around music since he could remember, going with his mother to her gig's or just constantly listening to the radio. "Even though I was'nt a DJ yet, I always particularly enjoyed listening to mix show's more than anything, especially old school mixes and live broadcast's from local night clubs. I looked at it as my history lesson on club music. What made me different from other deejays my age was that they just focused on what was new, I did too, but digging through crate's pulling out an old Planet Patrol record or 2 Live Crew LP made my day." |
